Affordable housing leasing and operations non-profit organization seeks an executive assistant to support the President in its Boston location. This is a part-time role with a flexible schedule.

Company: Affordable housing and leasing organization operates in nine states, with headquarters in Boston, connecting residents with high-quality property management, opportunities and partnerships that improve their quality of life.

Location: Boston, MA
Job Type: Temp to Direct, part-time.
Hours/Schedule: 25 hrs/wk, 3-5 days between M-F. Flexibility on 3 long days vs. 4-5 short days.
Rate: $20/hr
Job description: The Executive Assistant supports the President of the organization.

Responsibilities: Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks including:
  • Support President in day-to-day activities and others as needed
  • Arrange detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas
  • Complete expense reports
  • Compose and prepare correspondence
  • Compile documents for travel-related meetings
  • Maintain meeting schedules
  • Route incoming inquiries to appropriate contact(s)
  • Maintain electronic filing system
  • Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents (Excel)
  • Other support tasks as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in real estate, affordable housing a plus
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting needs, and handle matters expeditiously and proactively
  • Experience following-through on projects to successful completion
  • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Experienced using Outlook Calendar
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
  • Ethical work behavior
  • Proactive business approach to problem solving
