International foreign exchange company in DC has an immediate need for a “jack of all trades” marketing professional who can work across a wide range of marketing components (digital and traditional) to drive business performance.
 

Company: Foreign exchange company
 
Location: Washington, D.C., between Metro Center and McPherson Square. All work must be done on site.
 
Job Type: Direct Hire
 
Hours/Schedule: 30 hours/week
 
Rate: $35-$40/hour
 
Job Description: Develop, implement and track all marketing initiatives.  Position services to existing and prospective clients.  This “jack of all trades” position is a good fit for a marketing professional who can work across a wide range of marketing components (digital and traditional) to drive business performance and to enhance brand recognition.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s business activities to both prospective and existing clients
  • Run Email campaigns to promote products and improve client retention
  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives including website, social media, SEO, key word advertising, and blog to drive inbound prospective clients and to enhance client retention
  • Research Trade shows and coordinate participation in relevant shows
  • Manage marketing collateral material including design, production and distribution
  • Write content as needed or source internal or external experts for specific content
  • Help drive byline article publication in outside online/print business media
  • Track all programs to monitor campaign ROI and submit reports for internal transparency
  • Manage marketing budget
  • Become the organization’s agent towards external parties such as media, stakeholders and potential clients and build strategic partnerships
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, or other related course
  • Proven experience as Marketing Manager or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Analytical and creative thinker
  • Exquisite written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Current on all online marketing techniques and best practices
  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics (google analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords
  • Customer oriented approach to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to select and manage outside vendors to support marketing initiatives
