Small start-up private equity group founded by two leading WDC real estate executives with a focus is on acquiring and operating office properties in the DC metro area.

Hours/Schedule:  Approximately 25-30 hours/weekly, flexible schedule.
 
Rate: $25/hour
 
Responsibilities:

•    Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the executives, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature
•    Work closely and effectively with founders to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately
•    Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
•    Maintain often complex business and social calendar and arrange transportation between commitments as needed
•    Successfully complete critical deliverables, including drafting general correspondence, memos, and letters, many of which are confidential in nature
•    Handle all calls to ensure they are routed to appropriate founders and that messages are returned; and other tasks that facilitate the founders’ ability to      effectively lead the company
•    Make and follow up on personal and business appointments as requested.
•    Coordinate international and domestic travel including accommodations, ground transportation and detailed itineraries and ensure all up-to-date reservations are posted to calendar
•    Maintain deep directory of qualified vendors and sourcing and vetting new vendors, when necessary
•    Own the planning/coordination of personal and business events
•    Assist in the preparation of packages and requests for information
•    Create and maintain files, databases and spreadsheets 
•    Open, distribute, and respond to incoming mail as needed
•    Prepare expense accounts/reports
•    Process invoices for payment, after first assessing purpose, obtaining approval, and routing to appropriate party for payment
•    Work directly with IT support to ensure resolution of technical issues and smooth functioning of office technology
•    Office management duties: filing, organizing myriad of projects, order and maintain supplies


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience as an Executive Assistant supporting high level Execetives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to multitask and set priorities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
