Hours/Schedule: Full-time preferred but will also consider part-time 30 hours/week, mostly on-site but flexible schedule 
 
Rate:  $70-$90K annual, plus possible bonus

Job Description: The Director will be responsible for overall planning, direction, coordination, management and supervision of the total private duty operation. The Executive Director is accountable for achieving desired clinical competency, patient outcomes and financial targets (profitability) for his/her operation and the Company by: empowering and challenging people, recruiting and training the best people, delivering quality in everything they do, providing the right incentives, providing the resources people need, and creating an environment that enables people to be successful. The ED will also maintain company policies and procedures and compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities: 
  • Recruiting, hiring and managing caregivers. Create an atmosphere that recognizes people for their contributions and provides meaningful opportunities for increased learning and experience.
  • Participate in orientation of new employees
  • Market our message out to all caregivers, patients, and the community
  • Be a resource for families, hospitals, and the community
  • Participate in community and networking events 
  • Ensure the efficient delivery of private pay services, adhering to state and federal laws and regulations, ethical standards, agency policies and procedures, the agency’s mission and values, the agency’s code of conduct, and business integrity
  • Oversee the daily operations and operational flow of the department including performance of and/or oversight of crucial activities to include referral/acceptance process, assessment and reassessment visits, scheduling, staffing, client communications, payroll, billing and reimbursement processes, as well as overall compliance
  • Provide leadership and direction to administrative and clinical staff
  • Ensure on-site supervisory visits are conducted for clinical staff at least one time per calendar year to identify opportunities for coaching and feedback
  • Audit care records to ensure compliance and to identify educational opportunities
  • Create and analyze program’s financial reports and ensure operations are in line with margin and budget goals set forth
  • Research, develop and implement new programs – designed to meet the needs of our aging population and enhance our position in the community
  • Effectively market the business through participation in area organizations and professional groups
  • Enhance and create new relationships with referral sources including hospitals, ALFs, SNFs, physicians and other community providers
  • Develop and oversee a sales plan to drive company revenue
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in healthcare, senior care, customer service, or related field
  • Experience working within the community at large and making presentations to groups required
  • Results-oriented individual with excellent communications skills and the ability to market, direct, plan and organize
  • Highly motivated and passionate leader 
  • Excel in critical thinking and problem solving
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms
  • A positive attitude is a must
  • RN preferred
