Environmental Health & Safety company looking for an administrative assistant part-time.

Job Title: Office / Administrative Assistant (PT)

Company: Environmental Health & Safety Company, based in Bedford, has a client base of small to mid-size companies including some of the most innovative and exciting science and technology companies in greater New England.
 
Location: 
Bedford, MA

Job Type: Direct. This is a permanent part-time opportunity.
 
Hours/Schedule: 
Approximately 20 hours/week with potential for growth.  Schedule can be five half days per week, but will consider other schedules.
 
Rate: 
$20 - $22.50/hr
 
Job Description: Reports to Operations Coordinator.  Responsibilities include:
  • Welcome visitors and guests and be the “first face” of the company
  • Manage and carry out day-to-day office operations including order and restock of office supplies, food, other supplies, recycling, management of key supply vendors, kitchen clean & tidy
  •  Office relocation hands-on and management for the office move (or expansion) including the outfitting of accessories
  • Schedule and organize logistics (including hands-on moving of chairs/desks) for room set up/clean up for on- and off-site Safety Partners meetings including venue, food, space
  • General clerical work including periodic mailings, copying, material distribution
  • Registrations and memberships for marketing, professional development, and technical associations
  • Book conference attendance, travel and restaurants
  • Schedule meetings and manage calendars for 3 executives
  • Provide administrative support to the employees in the field as needed. Includes hands-on functions such as copying and mailing
  • Improve executive and management productivity through administrative support

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2 years’ experience in office environment, service business or customer service
  • Prior executive admin experience preferred
  • Detail oriented and ability to effectively prioritize
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized in handling multiple tasks for multiple people
  • Effective use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, Salesforce, databases, social media and other online applications
