Job Type: Temp to direct
Hours/Schedule:  24 hrs/week, flexible schedule spread over 5 days, on-site in Reston

Rate:  $30/hour

Job Description: Digital Marketing and Communications Coordinator will
 plan and execute all digital marketing, manage the corporate website, and create engaging content. This position will collaborate with the Marketing Manager on a daily basis in all aspects of the job.


Plan and execute all digital marketing, including web, SEO/SEM, email, and social media campaigns
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns
  • Oversee the social media strategy for the company
  • Utilize a range of techniques including paid search, SEO, and PPC
  • Maintain our social media presence across all digital channels
Manage corporate website
  • Provide the full spectrum of website management from the design and development to the daily maintenance and updates
  • Create a constant supply of high-quality, up-to-date content optimized for SEO
  • Monitor web traffic and metrics
Create content
  • Create engaging content for articles, blog posts, website, whitepapers, proposals, and marketing campaigns
  • Edit, proofread, and improve other writers’ content

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field.  Will consider years of experience and/or certifications in lieu of degree.
  • 5+ years professional experience in the marketing field, specifically to include proven working experience in digital marketing and website management
  • Demonstrable creative writing skills, graphic design and brochure development
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, and social media campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of WordPress, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Constant Contact, and social media such as Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Experience with high tech marketing preferable
