Management consulting firm based in Alexandria, VA is looking for an Executive Administrative Assistant 

Company: Management consulting firm working with government clients 

Location:  Virtual but must be available to support the company executives in person on request (must be in the DC metro area

Hours/Schedule: 20 hours week 

Rate:  $40/hour

Job Description: Pro-active, polished and experienced Executive Assistant is currently needed to support a fast-growing successful company. The candidate should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

  • Monitor multiple email accounts, follow-up and respond to inquiries, requests and issues
  • Manage President and Vice President’s calendars, schedule appointments
  • Anticipate the needs and requirements of the President and Vice President as necessary
  • Prioritize information for attention
  • Make travel arrangements (flights, hotel, transportation)
  • Prepare meeting materials (memos, handouts, presentations)
  • Coordinate conference calls, webinars and interviews
  • Promptly respond to staff inquiries
  • Review and approve timesheets and expense reports on behalf of the executives.
  • Work with staff to ensure they are prepared for meetings with executives before they occur
  • Professionally represent the company executives to clients, staff and other stakeholders
  • Facilitate internal communication and build relationships with stakeholders and external partners
  • Suggest more efficient ways to run the office
  • Ensure time sensitive requests are completed on-time

  • Bachelors degree
  • A minimum of 5 years proven work experience as an Executive Assistant, Executive Administrative Assistant or role that demonstrates similar requirements.  Experience working for a business owner would be a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work
  • Office management experience such as preparing and reviewing invoices, creating and reviewing expense reports, reviewing and approving timesheets.
  • Ability to exercise judgement and maintain highest levels of confidentiality
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of executives and be proactive in providing solutions
  • Proficiency with online calendars, cloud systems, and communication tools such as Google suite of tools and Slack
  • Experience using office equipment, including printers and fax machines
  • Strong communication skills (via phone, email and in-person)
  • Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information
