Location: Dupont Circle, Washington, DC
 
Job Type:  Direct. Part-time with flexibility
 
Hours/Schedule:  24 hours/week on site with flexibility 

Rate: $30-$35/hour with prorated benefits

Job Description:  Manage day-to-day HR department, office management, and assist CFO with finances

Responsibilities:

Human Resources:
  • Provide day to day support for all HR activities
  • Payroll, policies and procedures, benefits administration, recruiting & onboarding, recordkeeping and training & development
  • Manage the lifecycle of Human Resources programs including benefits, performance management, and compensation
Finance:
  • Work closely with our CFO to support accounting and project management activities
  • Administer contracts; track project time and costs against budget
  • Prepare reports and analyses for project managers and external partners
Office Management:
  • Assist in the management and support of all office and administrative needs
  • Order supplies, plan company events and coordinate relationships with building management and third-party vendors
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Prior experience in Human Resources and Finance desired
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Comfort working in a small, non-traditional organization
  • Experience and a high degree of comfort with a wide variety of technology (computers, tablets) and software (Microsoft Office suite including Excel pivot tables, Dropbox, QuickBooks, cloud storage, project management software and other web-based applications)
  • Professional discretion and mature judgment with ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, meet individual and group deadlines
  • Willingness to respond to email and phone calls outside of ordinary business hours
  • Must be currently authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
