Rate:  $42,000 annual salary plus benefits

Job Description:  Member Engagement Coordinator will provide support and coordination of Net Generation (youth tennis brand, dedicated to welcoming millions of new players to the game by focusing on empowerment, unity, and playinitiatives and activities associated to our members and provider network. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Member Engagement and Diversity, and working in collaboration with other departments, this role is responsible for coordinating expansion of our Net Generation provider network.


Responsibilities:  
  • Work with the Senior Manager, Member Engagement & Diversity to promote youth brand, Net Generation, to increase awareness amongst providers and consumers and result in increased participation in programs and services
  • Connect with County/City PE Supervisors to secure school workshop opportunities in consultation with Senior Managers and Senior Manager, Member Engagement & Diversity
  • Provide regular and consistent follow-up with PE teachers, schools and high school coaches to assist them in the Net Generation registration process
  • Aid in the management and implementation of Net Generation Schools workshops
  • Assist Senior Manager, Member Engagement & Diversity with administrative needs both pre and post schools workshop
  • Manage, and when required, administer Net Generation School workshop
  • Act as a resource to Net Generation Ambassadors for any current or potential collaboration
  • Provide updated reports to Recreation Program leadership team on Net Generation status
  • Provide reports that highlight after-school program leads in targeted areas
  • Provide updated reports to Jr. Competition and Player Development Team on Tournament Director Net Generation status
  • Coordinate follow-up with Net Generation pending and approved providers to build provider network and increase the number of programs in Program Management Center
  • Support strong partnerships and relationships with Community Tennis including Community Tennis Associations, Parks and Recreation Departments and NJTLs under the Net Generation umbrella
  • Coordinate Net Generation School data and identify trends, opportunities and successes and use data to inform programming decisions
  • Support Net Generation Pathway initiatives, including but not limited to, ensuring Net Generation approved status, identify school partners, coordinating programs entered in the Program Management Center of Net Generation that are aligned with our strategic initiatives and key performance indicators
  • Provide on-site event support as needed and approved by the Senior Manager, Member Engagement & Diversity
  • Attend, as needed, after school association conferences and state meetings

Qualifications:  
  • College degree or related experience and/or training required
  • Knowledge of tennis preferred
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Work independently and collaboratively to accomplish responsibilities, goals, and projects
  • Organize work to meet deadlines and work independently
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
Travel Note:
  • Position will travel approximately four (4) weekends and 5-10 day trips per year throughout the region
