Hours/Schedule:  20 hours/week, flexible schedule, mostly on-site

Rate:  TBD based on experience

Job Description: Coordinate, negotiate, and administer US government contracts and subcontract under minimal supervision

Responsibilities: 
  • Provide appropriate support during the contract lifecycle from presolicitation, to proposal development and submission, discussions/negotiation, award, contract execution, and contract closeout.
  • Reviews requirements documents (i.e., statement of work, specification, etc.) for clarity and adequacy, and obtain necessary clarification in support of the bid-and-proposal process.
  • Identify and ensure the flow down of prime contract requirements are properly addressed in subcontract agreements.
  • Develops and issues subcontractor request for proposals. Responds to subcontractor inquiries. Prepares, issues, and administers non-disclosure and teaming agreements with prospective teammates.
  • Receives and reviews subcontractor proposals.
  • Negotiates specific subcontract terms and conditions including price, delivery, quality, and performance requirements.
Qualifications:
  • (5-7) years related experience in government contracts administration/management
  • Requires knowledge of business agreements, Government and commercial contracting methods, including policies, procedures and the regulations (FAR/DFARS)
  • Working knowledge of DoD and civilian-agency contracts, GSA Schedule contracts, GWACs, pricing and accounting principles
  • Ability to readily adapt to changing requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
