Property management firm seeks maintenance coordinator to manage field maintenance team and property management projects

Company: Premier full-service property management company in the greater New England region with comprehensive services including condominium management, investor services and maintenance.
Location: Arlington, MA
 
Job Type: 
Direct hire
 
Hours/Schedule: 20-25 hours/week, on-site M-F, 8:30/9:00-1:00
 
Rate: 
$22/hr
 
Job Description: 
The Maintenance Coordinator works with the field maintenance team and property managers to run work order tracking and implementation. A successful candidate will be well-organized, able to shift priorities while maintaining focus on the bigger picture, have solid follow through skills, and contribute to a positive work environment.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Track work orders and facilitate solutions with vendors, field maintenance team, property managers, senior management and clients
  • Oversee supplies and material to ensure availability/delivery
  • Utilize internet, vendor information and other resources to research solutions to maintenance issues
  • Schedule maintenance tasks by assigning to appropriate field workers
  • Manage maintenance process from work order start through billing
  • Interact with internal and external clients by phone and email in a professional manner
 
Qualifications:                                                                                             
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Ability to effectively organize information for the purpose of planning, implementing, tracking and reporting information through written and oral reports
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions and meet deadlines while seeking input and assistance when needed
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong follow through and attention to workflow
  • Able to shift priorities when needed while maintaining momentum on ongoing projects
